SOME OF HER CAPTURES

AMSTERDAM, sth March,
A German naval communique says :— The Moewe brought four British officers, twenty-nine British marines and sailors, and 166 members of the crews of enemy chips, including 103 Indians; also a million marks worth of gold bars. The vessels sunk included the Saxon Prince and the French steamer Ma-roni. The communique adds : " The Moewe laid mines on the enemy coast, to which the battleship King Edward VII. fell a A-ictim among others."
The commander of the MoeAvehas been given the Iron Cross, and summoned to meet the Kaiser to report his adventures. The whole of the crew have received Iron Crosses of the second class.
