The Akaroa County Racing Club's Meeting was held at Motukarara on Saturday in perfect weather. There was a large attendance. Results: —
Hurdle Handicap, if 65 soys; one mile and a-half.—l Bore, 12.5, 1; 2 Glenowl, 9.13, 2; Canterbury 9.9, 3. Bore won comfortably by a length.
Maiden Plate, of 50 soys; six furlongs.—3 Majestikoff, 8.5, 1; 2 Stargazer, 8.11, 3; 6Te Anau, 8.5, 3. Also started : 4 All War 8.11, 4 Aycliffe 6.13, 10 Horahiki 8.11, 8 Sport 8.11, 11 Bonny Girl 8.11, 9 Royal Jack 8.11, 7 Trevena 8.5, 5 Formola 8.5, 1 Glentanner 6.13, Subterfuge 6.13. Won easily. Time, lmin 17sec.
Peninsula Cup, of 75 soys and cup valued at 25 soys; one mile and a-quar-ter.—2 Peronilla, 7,11 (C. Emerson), 1; 4 Gnome, 6.11, 2; 1 Chrvsotis, 8.0, 3. Also stared : 6 Bartuk 7.11, 5 The Cornet. 7.6, 13 Snapdragon 6.12. Won by eight lengths. Time, 2min BA^c.
Waihora Park Trot Handicap, of 60 soys; one mile and a-half.—4 Goldstream, 15sec, 1; 1 Dorothy Dillon, 16sec, 2; 13 King Karri, 13sec. 3. Twenty-five started. -Won by a length. Time. 3min.
Kinloch Welter Handicap, of 55 soys; seven furlongs.—4 Dan Cameron, 7.7, 1; 9 Moneymaker, 7.13, 2; 3 Bandy. 8.5, 3. Also started: 7 Briar Patch 9.6, 5 Kilts 8.9. 1 Melford 8.9, 8 Caher Davon 8.8, 2 British Rose 8.5, 6 Don Francisco 8.2, 10 Royal Jack 7.7. Won by nine lengths. Time, lmin 29sec.
Wairewa Trot Handicap, of 60 soys ; two miles.—l Branston, 3sec, 1; 10 Rhodesia, 23sec, 2; 1 Wildthorpe, 33sec, 3. Seventeen started. Won by three lengths. Time, smin 5-isec.
Terawora Hack Handicap, of 50 soys; six furlongs.—Forest Belle, 8.2, 1; Moneymaker, 7.8, 2; Deltonio, 7.13, 3. Also started: Don Francisco 7.11, Cosey Corner 7.7, Waterspray 7.5, Bonne Douche 7.0, Merryhold 6/7, Goldform 6.7, Cannie Scot 6.7. Won by a length. Time, lmin 16sec.
