FROM SALONIKA TO SMYRNA

LONDON, 4th March.
Athens advices state that seven French aeroplanes flew from Salonika to Smyrna, bombed the batteries thcve, and returned.
The double journey occupied twenty four hours.
One aeroplane fell into the sea, but British destroyers rescued the machine and occupants.
