PEOPLE'S PICTURE PALACE.
This week's programme should attract large attendances all the week at the People's Picture Palace, judging by the attractive qualities of " Checkers,'"' the five-act racing drama, which is the feature film of the new programme screened to-day. Adventure, excitement, romance, and racing are woven together to make a play of, more than ordinary interest. The supporting programme includes " Gussie, the Golfer," a- Keystone farce, with many this company's popular comedians playing parts. A topical film of much interest is "The Grecian Navy," showing the best part of the fleet belonging to this country. Another comedy full of fun is "The Titled Trio."
