MINIATURE SHOOTING.
CHAMPIONS TEAMS MATCH.
The Wellington City and Suburban Rifle Club Union fired the second match for the senior champion teams shield at the Buckle-street miniature range during the week. The next match was to havei been fired at Trentham, but owing to the ranges there . being used for the training of the Reinforcements, it was decided to complete the competition on the miniature range. The following are the individual scores of the affiliated clubs :—

The position at the end of the second round in the senior competition is: — Club. Points. Suburbs 1544 Petone 1505 Karori 1500 Highland ... 1479 Old Navals ... 1424 It is hoped to obtain the use of the range for the completion of the second match in the junior competition of the third and final match of both senior and junior competitions from 13th March to 17th March inclusive. Clubs will be notified as soon as word has been received from the authorities.
