ASSOCIATION'S ANNUAL
'MEETING.
The annual meeting of the New Zealand Accountants' and Auditors' Association was held at Auckland. Tho report stated that the credit balance at 31st December was £218, and the membership 222.
The president said that he had been in correspondence with various Australian Societies with a- view to establishing reciprocity. The a-ssociation was now in. communication with the Incorporated Society of Accountants of Victoria, the Federal Institute of Accountants, and the Corporation of Public Accountants of Australia.
Officers were elected as follow :—President, Mr. Rowley, Wellington; vicepresidents, Messrs. Bollard (Auckland), Corkill (Taranaki), Forsyth (Wellington), Salter (Canterbury), Statham (Otago), Ott (Southland); members of council, Messrs. Aicken, Hemingway, O'Halloran, Short, and Whitton (ot (Auckland) ; Bailey and Ellis (of Taranaki) ; Brunton, Fleming, Kcliow, M'Ka-y, and Port (of Wellington); Bascand, Compton. Hutchins, Tyers, and Virtue (of Otago) ; Blyth, Mitchell. Patterson, Reid, and Thompson (of Southland) ; Anderson and Scandrett (of Southland); auditor, Mr. P. S. Butler.
It was resolved that the next annual meeting be held m Wellington unless othorwise determined by the council.
