GRENADES AND TRENCH MORTARS
THE SUPPLY AT GALLIPOLI. (Received September 22, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 21st September. In the House of Commons, the Undersecretary for War, Mr. H. J. Tennant, in reply to Mr. J. C. Wedgwood' (Liberal), said that the supply ' of grenades and trench mortars in some weeks exceeded Sir lan Hamilton's demands, but that there had been instances where the mortars were below the number required.
