AUSTRO-GERMAN BATTERIES REPORTED BOMBARDMENT OF SERVIANS VIENNA, 21st September. A communique states: Anstro-German batteries bombarded the Servians on the south banks of the Save and Danube, also Belgrade. We surprised and destroyed Servian advanced detachments at the Drina estnary. iLONDO'N, 21st September. A Berlin wireless message states that German artillery commenced the bombardment of the Servian positions on the south bank of the Danube, near Semendria, driving off the Servians and silencing their batteries.
