WAR PENSIONS DEALT WITH

The War .Tensions Board sat yesterday. Applications from twelve 6oldiers and sixteen dependents were dealt with, and pensions representing a total of £851 per annum granted. Of the soldiers' applications, four were adjourned for a medical report ; two ap • plicants were ordered to appear in person before next, meeting of the board ; four were declined ; one was held over to be dealt with on the expiration of the applicant's leavej and one applicant was granted the full pension of. £91 per annum.
