FINAL GALLOPS. (BY TELEGRAPH.— PRHBS ASSOCIATION.) WANGANUI, This Day. The weather was fine for the 'final gallops. Work was confined chiefly to sprinting. • Expect and Sedd-el-Bahr covered half a. mile in 51sec, finishing together. Flying Spur did the same distance in similar time. Nones and Xanthos took a second less. Spain beat Marco Bello and Hikahakeke over four furlongs in 51sec, Probation equalling that time by herself. 1 Centre went five furlongs in lmin 2sec, Hydros taking half a second longer. Seadoun was slightly ahead of Sfceabo at the end of four furlongs, covered in 51 2-ssec. Taringamutu and Mar^inah went five furlongs in lmin 3£sec, andßanksia seven in lmin 33sec. Battle Eve and Snapdragon galloped six furlongs in lmin 1 20 sec, the former having the best of the gallop. Agatha Green went once round the schooling fences, jumping fairly well. Aratiatia shaped pleasingly over the schooling hurdles. Rinaldo, Bonny Helen, Sunbird, Ararat, Moutoa? Queen, and Miacara were all given solid work.
