A POLICE GUARD FORMED. (Received May 13, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. A guard of twenty-five police lias been formed to protect the German Club and the homes of leading Teutonic citizens. STAND BY FRUIT AUCTIONEERS. (Received May 13, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 12th May. The fruit auctioneers at Covent Garden have decided not. to deal 'with enemy subject*. CELEBRATIONS AT TIENTSIN GERMANS CAUSE ILL-FEELING. (Received May 13, 9.15 a.m.) PEKIN. 12th May. The Germans in Tientsin are celebrating the sinking of the Lusitania. This has caused great ill-feeling. The newspapers urge the Allies to assume the German concessions and prevent collisions.
