CHANGEABLE WEATHER
As predicted yesterday the weather lately has been cold and changeable, with showers in many parts. For the present a. continuance of these conditions may be expected. In the East Coast districts there is likely to be more rain ; but promise is givoa of an impiovement after * little while. Barometric pressure increased during the night, and westerly winds veered round to tho south. South-easterly winds may be generally expected northward of Holritika, moderate to strong and squally at times. Southerly will be the prevailing wind elsewhere.
