TEACHERS FOR THE FRONT
According to a statement made ok ibo Education Board this afternoon fourteen teachers and students have joined tbe Expeditionary Force from the Btaff of the service in the Wellington education district, as follow : Messrs. J. A. Gowles, head teacher, Carterton j H. P. C. Davie, sole teacher, Mauriceville 5 W. J. Clachan, sole teacher, Takapn; P. G. Tattle, sole teacher, Longbush; D. K. Pallant, sole teacher, Marima," F. W. Mothes, assistant, Petone; A. East, assistant, Clyde-quay; W. T. M'Caw,' assistant, Upper Hufct; J. B. Fobs, assistant, Levin; J. E. Mills> assistant, Levin ; W. T. Longhursfc, pupil teacher, Mount Cook Boys j C. Russell, pupil teacher, Carterton j H. Gray, pnpil teacher, Levin; L. A. Rogers, probationer, Te Aro.
