NORTH ISLAND REPRESENTATIVES.
On 12tb September an inter-island hockey match will be played in Wellington. Last evening the of the North Island representatives (Messrs. A. A. Bennett and E. J. W. Hallett) announced their team as follows : --Goal, R. Dwyer (Wellington) ; right full-back, Baker . (Auckland) ; lett full-back, Speight (Auckland) ; right half, Hanley f (Wairarapa) ; centre, M'Gregor (Wellington) ; left-half, Con nell (Wanganui) , forwards, right-wing, Atkinson (Hawkes Bay) ; iiißide-nght, Mahoney (Auckland) ; centre, G. Strack (Wellington) ; inside-left, Boyd (Wellington) ; left-wing, Loader (Wellington) ; emergency, full-back, Bottrill (Hawkes Bayi Any of the foregoing not able to play are requested to notify Mr. A. A. Bennett, as soon as possible. WEDNESDAY c FIXTURES. Following are the fixtflres for to-mor-row's hockey: — Hereawa v. Ramblers B, at Karori (Mr. Cooper) ; Pakeha v. Ramblers A, at Karori (Mr. Cusack) ; Hui Mai v. Petone, at Petone (Mr. Johnson).
