UPPER. HUTT TOWN BOARD. PROPOSED SPECIAL LOAN FOR £1200. IN the matter of "The Town Boards Act, 1908" and "The- Local Bodies' Loans Act. 1913," and tho amendments thereto respectively, the Board of the Upper Hutt Town District hereby give Public Notice that such Board proposes to borrow, by way of special loan, within the meaning of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913/' the sum of TWELVE HUNDRED POUNDS (£1200) for tho following purpose: — To purchase and set up a Road , Roller and Stone Crushing Plant for the District. Tho Board proposes to pledge a Special Rate of 2-13ths of a Penny in the Pound on the rateable value of all the rateable property within the -Town District of Upper Hutt, on tho Basis of the Unimproved Value, as security for tho repayment of such Loan. It is proposed to pay all preliminary evpenses, delivery charges, and - charges incurred in taking tho poll and raising the Loan, and the first year's interest and sinking fund, out of the Loan. ' R.
