Rain has fallen north of Auckland, and misty and foggy weather is reported this morning in many parts, especially in .the EastCJoast of the South Island. General conditions have been very warm and humid, and the > winds havo been variable. A northerly now prevail?, and is likely to freshen evefvwhere. Tho forecast is for a_ continuation of warm and humid conditions, with tho weather , clouding' over. Rain is probable in many parts.
