THE LAND BILL
Among the provisions in the Govern ment Lahd Bill to be introduced this session will be one aeking for authority for tho Government to remit rents to eettlers who experience difficulty in the matter of finance, on the understanding that if at any time the settlers dispose of the goodwill of their holdings at a profit, the amount which the Government remits will be Tefunded in the ordinary way.
