MR. G. HAMILTON ARCHIBALD
Mr. Archibald, who is to give a course of lectures to teachers under the auspices of the Sunday School Union, is to arrive here tc-morrow by the Moeraki. _ Mr. Archibald is accompanied by his wife and Misa Archibald and ' Mise Backhouse. Miss Archibald and Mis 6 Backhouse are trained kindergarten teachers, and are to give demonstrations as to how to conduct classes for children aged four to eight years. In Australia Mr. Archibald has had audiences of 1600 and 2000, and has been the means of .stirring up Church and Sunday wchool authoiities to go into Bchemes for bringing their schools up to date. The lectules here will bo given in Wesley Hall, Taranaki-etreet, each afternoon and evening from Wednesday to Monday. There will be a ma*« meeting in the Opera House after church on Sunday evening.
