Next Saturday's run takes place from Karori Tea Gardene. BROOKLYN CLUB. Fifteen competitors* turned out for the Cross-country Maiden Handicap, held at Miramar on Saturday. The weather conditions made the going very heavy, but, nevertheless, keen competitions resulted. The, course was practicall the same as that of the Central Harriers last Wednesday. The limit men led all the way. Burrell, scratch, made a fine effort to get on level terms with them, but only manuged to get within a hundred yarde of th« winner.
