Northern Union results : Ponsonby (36), beat City (12) ; Manukau (11), beat Eden (5). • HARRIERS WELLINGTON CLUB The Wellington Harriers held their weekly run from the Hutt Park. . Owing to an alteration in the railway timetable the Novice Handicap, which was to have taken place on Saturday, liad to be postponed until Saturday week, owing to several competitors missing the train. 1 The pack,' however, had a scratch race j over two laps (21' miles), and it resulted j in a win for Salek,, Rowberry second, and Dona-ldbon third. Next Saturday's run takes place from Karori Tea Gardene. BROOKLYN CLUB. Fifteen competitors* turned out for the Cross-country Maiden Handicap, held at Miramar on Saturday. The weather conditions made the going very heavy, but, nevertheless, keen competitions resulted. The, course was practicall the same as that of the Central Harriers last Wednesday. The limit men led all the way. Burrell, scratch, made a fine effort to get on level terms with them, but only manuged to get within a hundred yarde of th« winner. The race resulted : — Warmiugton 1, A. S. Oliver 2, Ballantyne 3. Burreil made the fastest time, 12min 40sec
