WAGONER FATALLY INJURED,

|BT TELEGRAPH — PEEB6 ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, This Day. Joseph Ellis, aged thirty-five years, a single man, employed as a wagoner, died in the Lawrence Hospital, this morning as tho result of injuries sustained through his falling under his wagon at Millers Flat on Saturday.

Mr. Arthur Audrey, a member of the commercial etaff of the Dominion, was found dead in a bath of water at his residence, No. 88, Rolleston-street,, on, Saturday evening. Mrs:' Audrey left home about 7.30 o'clock, her husband then being in the kitchen, and on her return at 0 o'clock she found him in the bath. Dr. M'Evedy was called in, but could only pronounce life extinct. An inquest was* held this afternoon before Mr. Riddell. Dr. M'Evedy" said that death wks due to h-tart failure, and" a verdict \va& given to that effect. To-morrow, at 1.30 o'clock, Messrs. < Johnston and Co. will hold an auction 6a U' of, 1200 boxes of assorted chocolate, mixtures and other confectionery, ex s.s. Orari. The' confectionery will be on view on the morning of the sale.
