A FAMILY IN DISTRESS
It has been represented to us that as a result of the fire at Newtown on Saturday, one family — Mrs. Turner and her children — have been left practically destitute. Several residents, have brought under our notice the circumstances of the case, and we have been asked to give publicity to the fact that any help in the way of furniture, etc., would bo gratefully received, if sent care Mrs. Hassell, 222, Riddiford-street. Mrs. Turner and her family had all their possessions destroyed by fire, except the clothes they, were wearing at tho time.
