TELEGRAM FROM THE KING. TRIBUTE TO GALLANTRY OF FRENCH SAILORS.
ON BEHALF OF THE HOUSE OF COMMONS. (Received December 15, 1 p.m.) LONDON, 14th' December. Owing to the .Delhi wreck, the P. and 0. liner Mantua will proceed to Australia via Bombay. Several of the Royal party are still abed at Tangier, where they are awaiting their luggage. They have experienced no ill-eilccts from their exposure. King George telegraphed : "Much relieved that you were safely landed." The Delhi's bulkhead has yielded, and the position is serious.
