STAR PICTURES.
Thero was the usual change of pictures at the Star Picture Theatre last evening — humorous," dramatic, scenic, and topical. "The Ballet Dancer," a dramatic series picturing stage life, was well received, as was also a coloured film -by Pathe Freres, entitled "Love and War," a sensational story of love and revenge. A nature study of interest was included in "Studies at the Zoo," and heartylaughter greeted ""A Good Watchdog, "Berlin Fire Brigade," and "Australian Gazette" were also-included in the programme. Tho performance to-night is in aid of the Tramway Band Contest Fund. Therp wjttl be a matinee to morrow afternoon at 2.30.
