' [Br Telesbavh. — Special to The Post.] OTAKI, 17th August. At the Police Court to-day a native lad was charged with disorderly conduct, ■while drunk, on Sunday night. He was fined 10s, in default 24 hours' imprisonment. The fine was paid. Mi 1 , and Mrs. G. M'Beath, after a two months' trip to the Islands, Sydney, rand Auckland, returned here on Saturday night, much benefited. After a spell of glorious weather, showers of rain, together with cold weather, predominated to-day. GREYTOWN NOTES. '{By Telegeaph. — Special to The Post.] GREYTOWN, This Day. Greytown was alive with huntsmen, hounds, and spectators on Saturday, when a run was made from Kuratawhiti to Mr. J. Cotter's farm. On arrival there, Mr. Cotter, with his wife and received the party, and supplied refreshments. The run was a most successful one, and no doubt if "Mr. Fox" had been there he wonld have lost his. "brush," for the dogs were out "tokill." A change in the weather took place yesterday, and rain fell. We have had, several fine days and frosty mornings. Mrs. Scale, one of the industrial inspectors, paid a visit to Greytown onSjkturday, unofficially. Messrs. Veitch and Allan are losing the services of Mr. D. C. Humphrey, who intends taking up farming pursuits. Mr. Oliphant will take* charge here at' the end of the month. I
