VICTORIA COLLEGE STUDENTS.
* A successful year and increased membership were the most prominent features in tho annual report of the Victoria College Students' Association, discussed at tho nnnmil meeting held on Friday, Mr. H. P. Richmond presiding. The report also referred to the action resolved to bo taken by the senate with regard to the transfer of electors from ono university to another, and further suggested that stops should be taken to prevent abuse of proxies at elections. Tho questions of ontertaiument of new graduates and of the presentation of ■an athletic cup, wore referred to the incoming committee, with power to act. A discussion on tho respoctive functions of the association and the court of convocation took place, and it was finally agreed that the association, having a distincL function to perform, could not, with advantago, bo merged into the convocation.
