PALMERSTON N., This Day. j The Conciliation Board sat here today in connection with the shearers' dis- J puts, but adjourned till a conference has taken place between the. parties to tho dispute. Mr. .P. J. O'Rogan said he has met many flock-ownera who are anxious tcm&et the men, and lie thought there would bo no difficulty in arriving at an amicable settlement. Captain Hewitt, >on behalf of the flockowneis, informed the hoard thnt they would render any assistance possible, and tlo all in their power to make the conference a success.
