LARGE SHIPMENT OF DAIRY PRODUCE.
THE PAPAROA'S CARGO. A record shipment of chcos? from New Zer.liind was mado by the N^w Zealand Shipping Company's Paparoa, which left Wellington for London this afternoon. It consisted of 18,722 packages of cheese, valued at £70,207 10s, ns compared with 17,471 packages ot ths value of £65,516 oi ths Shaw, Savili and Albion Company's lonic on tho sth of the present month. '1 no Paparoa also took away a larger quantity of butter than the lonic. The shipment by the steamer which left today consisted of 44,252 boxes valued at £110,630, while tho lonic carried t2,734 boxes, valued at £106,333. Tha total value of the butted and cheese by the iraparoa is £180,837 10s, as compared with £172,351 by tho preceding steamer. Auckland, with .a total of 12,667 boxes, heads the list with the export of butter by the Paparoa ; though Xew Plymouth's consignment of 11,8 79 boxes added to that of Patea,' 4241 boxes, would surpass the above total. Wellington's shipment is 10,589 boxes. Patea comes first in the matter of the export of cheese, with 7255 cases ; Blufi follows next with 3699 cases ; Wellington has sent away 3418 cases, and Taranaki 2510 cases.
