By Telegraph.— Press Association. — Sopyrigbt. (Received January 17, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 16th January. Although there was much evidence to show that for many years prosperity awaited mining, yet Western Australia's future did not depend entirely on the gold industry. Mr. Hermann, London chairman of the Associated Blocks (West Australia) Co., Ltd., presiding at a meeting of the company, suggested that the Government of Western Australia ought to test and exflore the Kalgoorlie district, where, so ar as he could see, all the producing mines were approaching their end.
