TROUBLE AT MANCHESTER. By Telegriph.— Press Association.— Copyright. LONDON, 25th November. There is trouble in the cotton industry at Manchester. ■ Thanks to the efforts of the President of the Board' of Trade, the Right Hon. D. Lloyd-George, a temporary settlement was effected, in regard to some of tho matters in dispute, but ,it is now feared j that a. strike, affecting about ten thousand operatives, is impending.
