SIR HENRY COLVILE. Dy Telecraph.— rreaa Association.— Copyright, 1 (Received November 26, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 25th November. Major-General Sir Henry Colvile succumbed to injuries received through the collision of his motor cycle with the 1 motor-car of General Sir Henry Rawlinson, at Bisley. Major-General Sir Henry Edward Colvile, K.C.M.G., C.8., was born in 1852, and entered the Grenadiers in 1870. He saw active servico during the Soudan expedition of 1884, in Upper Egypt, Upper, Burmah, ' and South Africa. Among his publications are "A Ride in Petticoats and Slippers," ' "The 4.ccursed Land," "History of the Soudan Campaign" (compiled for the War Office), "Tho Land of tho Nile Springs," and "The Work of the Ninth Division" (Sir Henry commanded the ninth division in South Africa, where, by the' way, his reputation suffered somewhat).
