Lambing in th-3 upper districts, on the Rakaia River, show a percentage of 100 to 105. Crops are thriving, and the root crops coming up. Cereals are backward, but are making good progress. Stock .feed is , plentiful, and stock is looking well. The lambing psreentage is slightly over the average. The dry weather is not suiting farmers in the Lincoln district so well, everything being backward. Lambs will not be ready for market so early as in years past.
