Merinos declined by 10 per cent., and crossbreds by 15 per cent: METAL MARKETS. LONDON, 21st November. I Copper — On spot, £58; three months, I £58 15b ; electrolytic, £60. Tin — On spot, £135 15s; three months, £13? 10s. - ! Iron — 51s 3d. | Lead— £lß. ' Silver — 2s 3d ounce. CHRISTCHURCH WOOL SALE. CHBISTCHURCH, 21st November. At the first annual wool sale of this Benson's series the wool was not nearly so Tjright as last season's clip, but was much lighter in grease. The catalogues were jnede kup chiefly of small farmers' clips, with a few larger ones. The sa,le was a dull one, there being very little competition, except for a few of the best lots of nalf-bred, and a large proportion of' the lots were passed in. R.O.H. half-bred reached only 12jd, as against 14£ d last year, and- cashmere half-bred was passed in at 114 d, and was sold last year at
PRODUCE MARKETS. CHRISTOHDECH, 21st November. Flour has dropped in price 30s per ton, and is now £12 10s, against £14 pcrviously. Bran is reduced from £5 15s to £4 15s, and pollard from £6 10s to £5 10s.
