After going seven furlongs Outer moved up into second plaice. Turning into the straight Aotea 6till led, with. Outer close up. At the distance Aotea gave place to Outer, who | wss challenged by Lull, but won comfortably by one and a half lengths. Time, 2min 50 l-ssec. Dividend, £2 16s. Jones). .• . Flotilla slipped away with, a tnree lengths' lead, but -quickly gave place to Arc Light and Probabje. The latter led into the straight, but half a furlong from home gave way to Arc Light, who won by a length and a quarter, Aeolus who was badly left, beating Flotjlla on the post for third place. Wirral was badly left, and took no part in the race. Time, lmin 29sec. Dividend, £8 2s.
