CRICKET. SEATOUN CLUB.

Tho annual meeting of the Seatoun U'ickct Club was held at the Kiosk, Worser Bay last night. Mr. F. Townsend, the Mayor of Seatoun, presided over the meeting. Owing to the wicket being in a slate of preparation last season the report and balance-sheet dealt with the aftairs of the club for the season 1903-o*. For ' this period tho club spent a very eniovable and successful season. On the motion of the Chairman the report and bal-ance-sheet were adopted. Mr. G. Lincoln Cole won the bowling average, and Mr. F. S. Jackson was the most successful member with the bat. The last-named player was the first member to score' a century for the club. . The officers of the club for the season are as follows : — President, the Mayor of Seatoun (Mr. F. Townsend) ; Vice-Presidents, Messrs W. H P Barber, M.H.R., F. H. Wood, A. E. Mnbin P. Zohrab, T. Wardell, T. M'Gralh j' Brodie, R. H. Wilson, J. H. Otto Schwartz, J. Bowie, and W. Doughty; Secretary, Mr. E. A. Payne; Treasurer, Mr. G. Lincoln Cole; Management Committee, Messrs W. P. Howell, W. Johnston, J. Ford, H. S. Richards, H. J. Wyatt ; Auditor, Mr. J. L. Maokie ; Selection Committee, Messrs G. Linclon Cole, E. A. Payne, and W. P. Howell. The

meeting decided to enter a team for the Third-cLiss Championship. Mi 1 . F. S. Jackson was elected a delegate to the Association. The Chairman notified the members that the club could practice on his sections in Miramar. (Applause.) Mr. Townsend urged the members to interview the Treasurer as soon as possible. Twenty-one new members were elected.' Mr. F. Lash informed the meeting of his intention to donate a match ball to the club. Mr. N. Lash brought under thei notice of the meeting Mr. T H. Wilson's motion which is to be considered at the Association's annual meeting. ThQ meeting unanimously decided to instruct its delegate to suport Mr. Wilson't motion. THE WADESTOWN CLUB. — t The annunl report of tho Wadestowji Cricket Club, which is to be presented | at the general meeting to-night, gives an account of the doings of the junior and third-class teams which played 'in last (season's competitions. The first eleven played seven matches, winning three, losing Ihree, and drawing in the other. n. Cook headed the batting list with an average of 24 runs, and tho bowliug average was won by Perry Tha second eleven lost the whole of its nine matches. Reference is made to games with country clubs. The balance-sheet showed that the club had £15 to its credit.
