SIR HENRY IRVING'S LYCEUM INCOME.
Sir Henry Irving has left London for a period of rest at the seaside, in confpany with his son Henry. Talking about his career at the Lyceum Theatre, he told a Scotsman contributor that since it opened tho books of tho theatre show a not revenue of two and a half millious sterling. Out of that splendid result lrving's maximum share was £10,000 a year. As is well known, whon he went on tour in the United States he, in accordance with an undertaking -.voluntarily entered upon, paid a percentage of his large earnings to the Lycoum company. Ho has not entered upon any definite arrangements for the two years he still proposes to remain in harness. It is, however, pretty certain that ho will make at least ono return visit to the United States.
