Sir George Newnes. in advertisements in reference to De Rougemont's stories appearing in the Wide World Journal, admits that De Rougemont is the person who was known in Australia and New Zealand as Grien. Sir George says that if Rougemont is not speaking the truth he is a master of fiction uuequulled since Defoe.
