Ijpress association.] Ciibistchurch, 21st October. The first bicycle relay race held in Canterbury for 100 miles took place yesterday on a 10 mile course. The weather was windy, but the road was good. The time put up was 4hrs 36min 30sec, beating the best known Australian record by lmin 40sec. Ten riders competed. Palmerston North, This Day. .At "a meeting o£ the committee of the A. and P. Association to-day a number of new members were elected, bringing the total membership up to 1033. Auckland, This Day. The Komata Reefs Company, at its cleaning up for the month, obtained £1300 worth of bullion from 410 tons ore. To-day's share market quotations are : — Bu3 r ers : Wellington Woollen Co., 95s ; May Queen, 4s 4d ; Alpha, 2s 6d ; Komata Beefs, 3s 7d; Waihi, 80s; Talisman, 10s 2d; Woodstock, 9s 3d ; Barrier Reefs, 5s 9d ; Mount Lyell, £7.
