[By Neptune.] A ball, to celebrate the thirteenth anni- , versary of the establishment of the Weilmgton Rowing "Club, will be held in Thomas's Hall on 4th July. I am glad to hear that outrigger rowing is to be starred at Waitara next summer. Hitherto all the principal races on the river there havo been rowed in whaleboats. The Arawa Sailing Club will probably be represented in the champion one-rater race at the Auckland North Shore Native Regatta in December. If the rating rule is satisfactory, two boats will probably be sent up from "Wellington. The annual smoke concert of the Arawa Sailing Club is to take place in the Trocadero next Wednesday. The prizes J (cash and trophies valued at £30) won last season will be presented during the evening. An effort is to bo made to obtain the use of the Board of Eduoatioo. hall for the Port Nicholson Yacht Club's nautical exhibition.
