A HIGHLAND CORPS.
TO THF EDITOR. Sir — While the volunteer fever is at its height it is very strange that someone has not proposed to orgauise a Highland corps. Such a corps, I venture to say, would be a success here. There are plenty of sons of Anld Scotia in Wellington who would volunteer for Zealandia if the chance of wearing their national dress presented itself. Hoping that some of my brother Scots will take this up, * I am, &c, Donald M'Pherson. Wellington, 6th June, 1898.
