The ratepayers have authorised the borrowing of .£30,000 lor the purpose of constructing Water and Drainage Works, at a special rate of Is Id in the £1 on the ratable value of all property within a special area, which ratahlo value (rental valuo) is now approximately £24,180, and will probably increase annually. This special rate will produce approximately iJ1309 per annum, and this rate and tho works are offered as security for such loan.
