WEDNESDAY'S LAND SALE.
+ Messrs. Baker Bros, announced in our auction columns a fortnight ago the sale of about a soore of city properties. So great has been the enquiry for them that nine of the houses have already been sold. Those still advertised consist of city residential and suburban properties, and also a number of building plots. In M'Farlaue-street will bo found a comfortable seven-roomed residence , in Hawker-street a snug five-roomed cottage, with all modern conveniences. Both properties command an extensive view. The Mem-street and Picton-avenuo houses consist of good cottage property, let to suitable tenants. In Washington-avenue, Brooklyn, the firm offers one of the most compact and convenient residences in that charming suburb.
