THE U.S. GOVERNMENT WILL NOT DENY ITSELF. STRAINED RELATIONS WITH GERMANY. (Received June 11, 9.40 a.m.) Washington, 10th June. II is reported that strained relations exist between the.- United Stales and Germany owing to the refusal o£ the American Government to give assurances that it will not occupy the Philippine Islands.
