AUCKLAND UNEMPLOYED.
[BY TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, 26th April. The Minister of Public Works has notified Mr. J. Holland, M.H.R., and the Hon. Mr. Jennings, M.L.C., that some of the unemployed will be put on the extension of the Helensville railway northwards as soon as the engines are ready for removal, and the erection of the new police barracks will provide work for some more.
