GREAT SLUMP IN WESTRALIAN MINING SHARES.
A FALLING-OFF OF £4,000,000 IN A MONTH. [press association.] London, 26th April. A great collapse has occurred in the shares in Bottomley's West Australian syndicates, the estimated value of which decreased £4,000,000 in a month. At a meeting of stockbrokers it was decided to assist the weak holders over the fortnightly settlement of accounts. A slight recovery has since taken place.
