♦ [by telegbaph— peess association.] "Wanganui, This Day. Patrick Corbett, a shepherd, who recently arrived from Hawkes Bay, hung himself at the rear of his dwelling this morning. He had been drinking lately, and was despondent on account of being unable to procure work.
