The outcome of the Wakatipu-Flora collision is that the directors of ' the Union Steam Ship Co. have relieved both Captain Ewen and Captain Waller of their commands. They recognise that both are officers cf charaoi;er and ability, but the rales of the oompany against racing I. ro so explicit that they had no option.
