Hearing tho shedd tho latter pair moved up, and sweeping into the straight Bonnie Scotland was in front with a two-lengths' lead of Dreamland, who was followed by The Harvester, Atlas and Malachite. Coming up the straight Forward ghowed a bold front, and at the distance Malachite too came with a great rush and looked all over a winner, till about 100 yards from home, where The Harvester came with a rattle and won easily by a length and a half from Malaohite, who was three-quarters of a length in front of the New Zealand colt ; then came Dreamland and Forward, with Marusa last. Time, 2min 40iseo. A protest was lodged against the winner for interference at the home turn with Bonnie Scotland and Malachite.
