WAIRARAPA RAILWAY EXCURSION FARES. TO THE EDITIOR.
Sib,— l see by your last night's paper that i the excursion fares by the WellingtouMosterton line are a good deal more than . those usually charged. I do not know why ! the railway authorities have seen fit to charge more than on other occasions, but I i am certain that they will gain less than they woald if they charged cheaper. A good many working men who took their families out into the country when the fare waß cheaper will not do so now, aa the difference will be considerable.
