CAPITAL, £24,000, in 24,000 Shares of £1 each, of which 4000 Shares paid up to two shillings, together with two shillings per Share on 20,000, to be issued to the publio, being the consideration given to the owner of the property, he having expended over £2000 in putting in drives, erecting buildings, and otherwise developing the mine, the whole of whioh will prove of great advantage to the Company. One Shilling per Share to be paid on application, Sixpence per Share on allotment, and Sixpence per Share one month from the registration of the Company, whioh will then be deemed as paid up to Two Shillings per Share. The property consists of a lease of 16 acres, held under the Goldfields Regulations of 1866. There are three distinct lodea in the area, two of whioh have been traced for distances of about 100 feet in the case of the northern, and about 300 feet in the case of the middle or main one. The northern lode averages in thickness 15 to 18 inches, and the middle one, where first cut in the top of level, five feet, and in the piddle level ten feet. This lode ia in numerous places joined by veina or leadera of varying thickneas, all gold bearing and Borne rioh, five of these loaders have been traced for distance!) of 30 to 100 feet, and vary in thickness from two inches up to two feet. The south lode has as yet only been out in one place in the top level, and close by it is joined by two large leaders, from both of whioh very good stone has been obtained, one of these loaders being traceable for nearly 150 feet. At the end of the lower level tho last 30 feet consisted of a formation of quartz veins from the thickneas of one-eighth of an inch to cix and eight inches, all gold bearing, and several Bhowing gold very freely. This body of veins ia vertical, and it ia supposed will unite with the middle lode at a depth of about 140 to 150 feet. It is proposed to put in a new level from Appooß Gully, which would open the mine at a depth of about 150 feet below any of the present levels, the length about 450 feet, and the cost may be taken at about 12s per foot, and if the lode should bo as rioh as at the aurface (and from the indicationa there ia every reason to suppose that thia will be so), machinery would then at once be ereoted.
