Messrs Dalgety & Co. t'eport as follows: OATS. Business in oafs is confined to f-eed requirements and there appear to be ample supplies held by merchants for this purpose. An occasional sample is oilbrcd from the country, but growers are not keen to accept ruling rates, in most cases being able to do better by selling for seed to neighbours The nominal value to farmers today is 3s 2d on trucks for A Cartons and 3s for WHEAT. There is now ho milling wheal offering from the country, and millers are drawing on Canterbury stocks of pool wheat for their requirements.
